Sir or Comrade Robert Mugabe (as he is called beside the fact, that the Queen has declared the Sir void) is the hero of independence in Zimbabwe. But he became a bad president. He and his clan robbed the once rich country blind and became billionaires. It’s long since the freedom fighter had a heart for the poor people, but he can’t be ousted as long as he is regarded „Father of the Nation“, so the Zimbabweans suffer silently until Mugabe dies of natural causes. This makes the old men bold, he thinks they love him, and so he felt compelled to celebrate his 88th birthday in February 2012 with a lavish party which costs the goverment ca. 700 000 Euro – a sum that could have fed 100 000 of his starving subjects for one week! And the birthday-cake, what a weird idea, was served in the shape and colour (green) of a lifesize crocodile! On which Mugabe tried to blow out some candles with what is left in his lungs, dresses as a boyscout. The croc-cake alone could have fed at least a hundred Zimbabweans who haven’t seen a loaf of bread for ages! What a strange world we live in …
