Yes, this beauty is andangered ...

Florida-Panther

... the Florida Panther as well ...

Iberian Lynx

... and the Iberian Lynx is almost extinct!

The list of the „Top 10 Most Endangered Species on Earth“ has to be revised every 10 years or so. I have my own list, and it is very different from the official „countdowns“. Julie Henry’s list looks like this:

1. Siberian Tiger (less than 200), 2. Loggerhead Turtle, 3. Jackass Penguin, 4. Black Rhino (less than 2500), 5. Greater Horseshoe Bat (4000 to 6000), 6. The Great Apes (like gorilla, chimpanzee and bonobo), 7. Yangtze River Dolphin, 8. Riverine Rabbit (less than 250), 9. Bactrian Camel (less than 1000), 10. Hirola Antelope (600).

But what about the Iberian Lynx (as few as 100) and the Florida Panther (not more than 160)? They are the ones we have to fight for. And there are beautiful birds of whose species only one or two have survived, which means: They are already lost and don’t know it! Sometimes vanished creatures re-appear – I will mention a spectacular one in Lost & Found …
